Thank you for purchasing the wonderful Outer Wilds Model ship!

Here you find some advice on how to assemble the model ship. The following picture show the terms being used to identify the various pieces of the model:

Tools required

• Cutter
• Small scissor
• Tweezers
• Ruler

Glue

• In order to glue all the pieces together properly, take a look at the pictures from the Etsy listing Model Ship first: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1687694411/outer-wilds-model-ship-with-real-tapes-a
• Be careful at the model ship head as there is no symmetry between the three junctions that are supposed to connect the glass (gold colored piece) with the wood panels
  • The most distant junction should be placed at the top as illustrated in the Etsy listing pictures
• The rest of the pieces are very straightforward to glue, just make sure to pay extra attention as once glued there is not turn back

Apply wires to the model

• Connect the electric unit at the back of the model ship to the gas bottle
• Connect the three connector of the electric unit to the bottom of the model ship
• You may want to use glue in order to stick the cable so that they do not get out by themselves
• Connect the long wire into the electric unit to represent the model ship antenna

Apply tapes to the model

Once you have glued all pieces together you can start creating the tapes. The cutter is an essential tool for precisely cutting the tape with the right size. Here you can find recommendations about tapes size:
